With the official startup of EMSTARS, the Pilot testing will come to a close. The pilot testing has been a great success. The Bureau of EMS and the EMSTARS Project Team appreciate the leadership and dedication that the Pilot Agencies have demonstrated. The EMSTARS Project Team will continue to work in phases to transition the remaining EMS Provider Agencies from aggregate data reporting to EMSTARS data reporting. The future startup dates are October 2008, April 2009 and July 2009. Agencies have already started signing up for these future starup dates.

At April's Advisory Council meetings in Cocoa
Beach, the Bureau took a moment to thank all of our Pilot Program agencies.
Without these providers and their staff, we would have no statistics to
report. Please join us in thanking them for their dedication.
